A few weeks ago DarkUfo reported that Lost would be moving back to Wednesdays next season. The source at ABC also told him that the premiere date could probably be 4th February. You already know all this.
The thing is that ABC is not doing well with ratings, especially on Wednesdays, where the network’s 3 prime-time shows premiered two days ago with extremely low ratings compared to last year.
10/01/2008 Ratings compared to 2007 Season Premieres:
‘Pushing Daisies’: 6.320.000 viewers, 7 million viewers less.
‘Private Practice’: 8.050.000 viewers, 6 million viewers less.
‘Dirty Sexy Money’: 7.140.000 viewers, 4 million viewers less.
So the question is: will ABC premiere LOST’s 5th Season much sooner than we think to improve the network’s low ratings?
We will keep you informed.

Last night “Something Nice Back Home” averaged 11,14 million viewers, the lowest number of LIVE viewers for any episode of Lost ever.
I know this sounds awful, but the fact is that a lot of TV shows had low ratings, like Grey’s Anatomy, Survivor or The Office.
Also remember that Lost is the most recorded and downloaded TV show right now.
