A few days ago our site and Twitter account were hacked by spammers. As a result, SL-LOST.com was shut down temporarily, and for the past few days our web hosting company has successfully helped us fix the security issues.

The journey that began on September 22nd, 2004 comes to an end tonight. I have a lot of emotions going on right now, but I’ll try to keep this short.

Thank You, Damon & Carlton, for creating the greatest show on television history.

Thank You, all the directors, producers, writers and all the members of the LOST crew, for making this journey possible.

Thank You, Matthew, Terry, Evangeline, Josh, Michael and the rest of the cast for your brilliant talent. Not only we fell in love with your characters, but we also fell in love with you.

Thank You, Michael Giacchino, for composing the most beautiful soundtrack we’ve ever heard on television.

And of course, Thank YOU, loyal SL-LOST readers and contributors, for taking this journey alongside us. We hope you stick with us for the months and years to come.

Goodbye LOST. You will never be forgotten.

The vast majority of fans who are awaiting the long anticipated LOST series finale wish to remain spoiler-free, but in reality, they are being spoiled without warning on message boards, social networks and numerous LOST related sites.

We are asking you to sign this petition as a request for LOST related websites, podcasts, TV Media and fellow fans NOT to spoil the LOST Series Finale. It’s simple: if details about the finale are not leaked, they won’t get spread on spoiler-free message boards, LOST blogs, Twitter, Facebook, etc.

Please, do it out of respect for fellow LOST fans, LOST’s writing team and the talented cast and crew who worked very hard for the last six years to give us this amazing show that brought together thousands of fans from all corners of the world. Let us enjoy these last few of our fandom days without the fear of being spoiled and ruining the series finale for us. We have the right to be surprised!

With over 10 million total views, 9,300 subscribers and hundreds of LOST videos, YouTube has decided to suspend SL-LOST’s channel. “Why?” you may ask. According to YouTube, the funny ABC House promo featuring Michael Emerson and CUATRO’s amazing LOST chessboard promo narrated by Terry O’Quinn violated YT’s Community Guidelines. Ridiculous.

Comic-Con begins its four-day run this Thursday, July 22nd (with Preview Night kicking off the event on Wednesday evening). San Diego’s biggest party began 40 years ago, then a much smaller event started by an enthusiastic group of comic writers, science fiction fans, and movie devotees. Today, the annual convention has grown to become the largest comics and pop arts event in the world. Its impact is so important it may even be a lifesaver for many local hotels, restaurants and bars impacted by today’s economic slowdown.

Comic-Con has played a key role for our beloved LOST series with the producers first introducing, then revealing important new details at panel discussions for each of the past five years. The enormously popular LOST panels have become a major highlight of the annual confab. LOST made its Comic-Con debut in 2004 with the world premiere of the Pilot episode, with the then relatively obscure actors Matthew Fox (Jack), Dominic Monaghan (Charlie) and Evangeline Lilly (Kate) being on hand. 2005 saw Josh Holloway (Sawyer) and Maggie Grace (Shannon) take the stage. In 2006, Rachel Blake from the LOST Experience made an “in character” appearance, interrupting Jorge Garcia (Hurley), Daniel Dae Kim (Jin), Damon and Carlton onstage. Harold Perrineau (Michael) joined Team Darlton in 2007. Matthew Fox (Jack) joined the producers onstage again in 2008. Last year, the Dharma Initiative even had a booth on the main exhibit hall to solicit new Dharma recruits for their worthy scientific and social endeavors, but alas that effort was also cut short by the economic malaise.

This year will be LOST’s last visit to Comic-Con and surprises a-plenty are in store. Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet) and Ian Somerhalder (Boone) will be in-person event promoting their newest artistic ventures (V and The Vampire Diaries respectively); but with the LOST panel occurring on Saturday, July 25th at 11 a.m. PDT, it’s not inconceivable that either (or both) could play a role. Rumors abound with literally every key actor, writer and producer a possibility for inclusion at the final LOST panel.

Hulu and The Walt Disney Company today announced that Disney, through a subsidiary of ABC Enterprises Inc., has agreed to join NBC Universal, News Corporation and Providence Equity Partners as a joint venture partner and equity owner of Hulu, a leading online aggregator of video content. Upon closing, the agreement will enhance Hulu’s programming line-up through the expanded online distribution of Disney’s most popular current and library primetime series and library feature films. In particular, full-length episodes of hit current and library programs like Lost, Grey’s Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Private Practice, Ugly Betty, Scrubs, Greek, Hope and Faith, Less Than Perfect, Wizards of Waverly Place, Phineas and Ferb, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, General Hospital, The View and The Secret Life of the American Teenager will soon be streamed on Hulu on an ad-supported basis.

“From our landmark iTunes deal to our pioneering decision to stream ad supported shows on our ABC.com player, Disney has sought to meet the constantly evolving viewing habits of our consumers, and today’s Hulu announcement is the next important step in that ongoing journey,” said Robert A.
