Tania Raymonde’s (Alex on LOST) new film’s trailer has been released. Take a look:
As you can see on the trailer, Tania plays the role of Helen, a girl in love with Stanford (Ryan Merriman). She has decided to give it all up to him. At least until she learns that her name is written in the high school football team’s secret Bang Book and it’s Stanford’s job to deflower her. The tables are turned and the battle begins when she and her two best friends, (Rumer Willis and Kristin Cavallari) form a pact to maintain their virginity, embarrass the team and foil the plot against them.
Michael Ausiello over at Entertainment Weekly has a few updates about some familiar faces, including Grant Bowler, who played Captain Gault in season 4. He’s landed a recurring gig on Ugly Betty as the CFO of Meade Publications. According to Betty executive producer Silvio Horta, “He’s running the business part of the magazine. He’s hot and cool and all the women are in love with him.”
In other news, Ben’s daughter Alex may be dead, but actress Tania Raymonde will live on to investigate some murders. She’s joining the cast of Cold Case as a funky lab tech and potential love interest for Danny Pino’s character. Raymonde will play Frankie Rafferty, who’s described by Ausiello as having “a street-smart vibe that comes from growing up on the wrong side of the tracks in Philly.”
If you want to see more of Naomi, aka Marsha Thomason, you’ll want to tune in to the new CW show Easy Money, which premieres October 5. Thomason has landed a series regular role on the series, which is a dramedy about a family of loan sharks that co-stars Laurie Metcalf. She’ll be playing the love interest of the family’s son, who longs to make his family’s shady business legit.
Last but certainly not least, M.C. Gainey, who is better known as Mr. Friendly, will show up on USA’s Burn Notice in January. He’ll likely appear for only one episode, and though there’s no word on what he’ll be doing, I have a feeling he’s going to cause some trouble.
Tania Raymonde, best known as Ben’s late daughter on Lost, is joining the cast of Cold Case as a funky lab tech and, despite the actors’ 14-year age difference, a potential love interest for Danny Pino. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
Okay, there’s something a little wrong with that.
Much like Pino’s character, Valens, Raymonde’s alter ego, Frankie Rafferty, has a street-smart vibe that comes from growing up on the wrong side of the tracks in Philly. Rumor has it Frankie is also full of secrets.
Big secrets.
Raymonde starts shooting later this month, and her first airdate is slated for November.
So, peanut gallery, penny for your thoughts: You cool with the May-October thing? Looking forward to seeing what Raymonde looks like when she’s not running around a jungle with her crazy French mother? Any theories as to what her character is hiding? Spill!
