While many people wanted & like the whole “love, bonding, meeting each other to help others into heaven” stuff, I did not.
Love is a universal theme, & it's been done to death.
What I wanted was a super-modern, quantum physics ending. The very latest theories put into the script – something to focus on the future of science.
Instead, we got a Louise Hay promotion of fluff. (My opinion.)

Science helps us understand the world as it is, but relationships are what keep us going. Your ending sounds interesting but not true to the story, nor fulfilling from a character perspective. Faith has been a huge aspect of the show from the very beginning. I don't really see how you expected a pure science ending. Each to his own.

a quantum physics ending? I think you're in a minority there. I honestly don't think a scientific ending would have been well received… most people wanted something emotional, which is what they got. And if they did go down the science route, all the people who wanted a science ending would say ” hey, that's not the scientific explanation i wanted/was expecting”
