DK Publishing and ABC will release a LOST encyclopedia on August 24!

Product Description: Featuring more than 400 pages and over 1500 images, the LOST Encyclopedia will be a comprehensive guide to the characters, items, locations, plotlines, relationships, and mythologies from all six seasons of the landmark series aired on ABC-TV and produced by ABC Studios. Created in full collaboration with ABC Entertainment and ABC Studios, this will be the first and only fully licensed and comprehensive reference to all things LOST, and it includes a foreword by executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse.
Authors :Tara Bennett and Paul Terry.

    400 pp for something as richly layered as Lost will not suffice IMHO. I would think a collaborative effort to put Lostpedia on CD or DVD would better serve the needs of those with an interest in plumbing the depths of this television masterpiece. Lostpedia contains 6300 articles and answers all reasonable questions about characters, plot, episodes, and relationships. I will certainly *not* order a 400 page intro to the story, but I would order one or more copies of the Lostpedia.

    If this is the same Paul Terry as fromt the Lost Initiative, I'm not as psyched as I could be. I wish Gregg Nations was part of it. But, of course, I'll be getting it anyway.
