Can't you just make another channel with another name and re-upload your old videos (besides the ones with copyright issues) to that new channel? Your videos are awesome! Personally my favorite is "in preparation for season 5" - Ghosts

Sorry man, that sucks. Could you please upload the prep videos to a more accesible place then Itunes? Just another youtube or Dailymotion? Or just somewhere at SL-lost?

That's a shame. I've seen many a good channel fall to the hammer of YouTube. We need a new Internets... this one seems to have lost its balls to corporate.

At least you made it to season 6, 6 months from now that channel will not have anything new to post....but it will be missed!

There are ways you can dispute when they complain about your videos. If you get a notice from YT about a copyright complaint, go to dispute and follow these steps:

1) Go to "My Videos".
2) Select "Resolve Copyright" on the video you are having copyright issues with. OR, go to the video itself and choose "resolve copyright" from there.
3) Scroll down and pick the option "I want to learn more about this dispute process".
4) Scroll down and pick the option "Take me to the dispute form".
5) Pick option #2 and PASTE the following statement into the text bar next to it;

"Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use."

6) Fill out the rest of the info on the page. Use your REAL name where it asks for it. Choose "Continue" when all information has been filled out.
7) Scroll down on the next page and select "Submit dispute".

I know. Hopefully the suspension won't last long, but that was more for a "future reference" I believe my "Who's the Family Guy?" video (along with a couple other LOST vids I made) were disabled, but using that, I was able to get that issue fixed and they're fine.

As for the suspension, I would think it's temporary....otherwise I would expect them to say it's "banned". I like how sites like YouTube don't have an option to contact them for complaints....bunch of chickens.

Well, so much with the free information... But no need to despair, right? There are other ways of doing it. The Universe has its way of course correcting these things :)

Sorry to hear that mate. I lost my channel 2 years ago and never bothered again. Technically they are in their right but to shut down the whole channel sucks :(
