I question this article. Earlier reports said Michael woke this morning to the ringing of his phone. Call from his agent regarding the nomination. The bra and panties quote does not sound like something the eloquant Emerson would say. Where did the author of this article get this information. Sounds made up to me.

Michael Emerson NEEDS to win the emmy this year! I was really disappointed last year when he didn’t win, but I think he should win this year. I just rewatched ‘The Incident’ yesterday, and that last sequence with Ben, ‘Anti-Locke’ and Jacob was just breath-taking and unbelievable! His performance throughout the season [and series] has been brilliant, and he really deserves the Emmy this year. BTW I was surprised by the ‘bra and panties’ bit as well.

Omg this guy is so cool. He had to be nominated, and he is nominated, it’s just fair, because he’s just the best actor. He deserved to win in 2007 and last year, and he didn’t, but this time he has to win !
