All flights are booked?
December 29th, 2008 at 1:07 pm
What does the sign say before 316?
December 29th, 2008 at 1:11 pm
i would say that it means “Flight”. Its probably guy who´s job is to get ppl from terminal to plane.
December 29th, 2008 at 1:28 pm
My guess–we can get some easter egg to pop up by going to the “Flights” page and find the right 316 flight. I’ve been trying one-ways from LA to Tokyo with different numbers of people with no luck…

Has anyone noticed, that there’s a Hex-Code in the source of the website, which goes like this: “46 6f 72 20 47 6f 64 20 73 6f 20 6c 6f 76 65 64 20 74 68 65 20 77 6f 72 6c

6f 6e 6c 79 20 53 6f 6e 2c 20 74 68 61 74 20 77 68 6f 65 76 65 72 20 62 65 6c 69
65 76 65 73 20 69 6e 20 68 69 6d 20 73 68 61 6c 6c 20 6e 6f 74 20 70 65 72 69 73

Translate it and it says: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Which is a part of the bible (John 3:16).
Woohoo …

In the font code HTML, there is comments whit Hexadecimal code!! I hope it will be a clue!! =)
December 29th, 2008 at 3:10 pm
And there are more comments in the Source of the website.
Under Flights, the Hex-Code says: “So off they started about Irish sport and shoneen games the like of lawn tennis and about hurley and putting the stone and racy of the soil and building up a nation once again and all of that.”
Under Destinations it says: “Pineapples in Hawaii” in Plain-Text
Under Adventures it says: “SUPERSONIC IS COMMERCIAL THIRTY TILL MERIDIAN ”
Under About us it says: “WHERE AMERICA’S DAY BEGINS.”
December 29th, 2008 at 3:18 pm
Wow that’s very interesting!
December 29th, 2008 at 3:24 pm
Good work Coma!
December 29th, 2008 at 3:42 pm
I made the origami ball out of the boarding pass and when you look through the hole you see the word “time” clearly written, then again you can see it even when it’s not folded. Interesting, but I was expecting the hieroglyphs to connect and form something, but it doesn’t seem that way…unless i did it wrong
December 29th, 2008 at 4:44 pm
Not sure, but i think the Comments in the source of the website (see above) could mean something.
For instance: “Where Americas Day begins” stand’s for GUAM (see Google for that)
“Pineapples in Hawaii” my stand for OAHU (a big pineapple-Farm on hawai)
But i haven’t got a clue what that supersonic-thing may stand for …
December 29th, 2008 at 5:50 pm
[...] according to our reader Coma, the Hex-Code on Ajira’s About Us page says “Where America’s Day Begins”, [...]
December 29th, 2008 at 7:09 pm
Do you remember in the Dharma Special Access when Damon and Carlton revealed episode 7 was called “316″? THAT is the flight that the Oceanic 6 are gonna use to get back on the island. And episode seven is when they get back.
Im proud of myself.

January 1st, 2009 at 5:48 pm

I am sitting here at the computer with the ajira ticket beside me and it hits me. the letters on the ticket stand for airport abbreviations. But now so we use the book a flight section to go to the next place? The first video said from LA to Guam to somewhere. Does that mean we can click and reserve a seat and receive a new ticket? I’m Lost!

(I have no Idea what this is about…)
after you book your ticket you see several still images and a video.
each seat you pick gives you something different until you pick a seat that you can print a ticket for. what you do with the ticket after you print it is anybodies guess (my guess is fold it up again.)
regarding the oragami.
if done correctly it has a hole you can look through that points directly at GUM (the airport abbreviation for guam) this is for the first ticket not the second one.

When the bar code is scanned by a bar code reader the following is produced: 048151623426. This corresponds to the Numbers enclosed by standard bar code digits (a prefix of 0 and a check digit of 6).
“the numbers” are 4 8 15 16 23 42
The other airport codes on the boarding pass are: LAX (Los Angeles), HND (Tokyo Haneda International), GLA (Glasgow)- corrected 1/7 GLR (Otsego County, US, Michigan), GMP (Gimpo, South Korea), BUU (Buyo, Cote D’Ivoire (Ivory Coast)) – corrected 1/7 – BWU (Sydney Bankstown), and PEK (Beijing).
Once on the page, seats can be selected using a randomized system which produces certain images. The numbers of the selections that show images are as follows; 3, 4, 10, 15, 24, 34, 35. So, for example, the 15th seat selected shows an airport lounge with “Ajira” on the wall. On the 36th selection, a completed boarding pass can be downloaded (see here). A list of the images can be seen here.
