About.com has a new interview with Madeline Carrell, the 12 year old actress who played young Ben’s friend Annie back in Season 3. Below are the LOST-related Q&As from the interview:
About.com: You’ve had guest starring roles on some of television’s hottest shows, which was your favorite?
Madeline Carroll: “Lost. I got to go to Hawaii for that role and I got to swim with the dolphins there. The cast is great, they were just so nice.”
About.com: You and actor Sterling Beaumon have appeared on a few projects together, will we see the two of you together again?
Madeline: “I’m not sure, maybe hopefully in the future. Maybe we’ll be on Lost again.”
About.com: You played Annie on Lost, any plans to return to the show?
Madeline: “I have plans, but I don’t know if they have plans. I think Annie is a really important character, so I think they’ll bring her back.”
About.com: Did TPTB at Lost tell you much about the origins of your character?
Madeline: “They were SO secretive. We were on the beach one day and they called to say they had to drop off the revised script and my mom told them they could leave it at the front desk at the hotel because we were on the beach. They asked where on the beach we were, and they found us on the beach.”

TVGuide.com: Has Ben’s revenge mission against Charles Widmore been trumped by the getting the Oceanic 6 to return to the island?
Michael Emerson: I think Ben has not forgotten what Charles Widmore has done to him, and I think he’s going to try to take care of that business at the same time as he’s taking care of the larger mission.
TVGuide.com: With all this time jumping happening on the island, will we see young Ben again?
Emerson: Yes. In fact, now that we are sort of ping-ponging around in the time-space continuum, all those backstories are re-emerging in more important ways. And the characters are, to some extent, going to be recontextualized. I know Ben is. You’re going to learn things about him that either mitigate or intensify some of the judgments you’ve made about him.
