I was enjoying this article until the writer trashed Josh Holloway’s acting.

Josh Holloway does not overreact. He is an excellent actor and yes his character is quite intense so he needs to show his character's emotions.

the thing that kills me is how many articles are written where the authors say the plot of LOST has so many contradictions and things that don't fit together - this is the refrain of people that know just enough about the show to seem like they know what they're talking about - bottom line - confusing does not mean contradictory

Terrible article. Sorry, but really bad. The show isn't about "being confused" it's about actually thinking. Josh doesn't over act either. You're an idiot.

The writer is definitely not a fan, and it sounds like he barely gets the show. And the only complaint I have about Josh Holloway's acting is too much clothing. :)

wow screw this guy...josh has amazing talent. totally agree with you george, he doesn't even sound like he likes lost. he's taking subtle little digs at the show wherever he can in this article.
  • Hi! I made a crossover trailer between Lost and Avatar, it has a touch of humor ^^

Josh Holloway does overact but in a good-way because he fits the party perfect. On the other hand, Elizabeth Mitchell is a horrible actress and I'm glad she's dead.

    NO WAY

I think Elizabeth is a good actress. Juliet is just not an intense character like Sawyer, Jack, Kate etc. She's softspoken. But I think when she is given a scene where she has to deliver a powerful performance, she can deliver. Like her death scenes, her scenes in season 3 when she accuses Ben of lying to her and then when she sees her sister on the monitor, and in season 4 when she discovers Goodwin's dead body. Rewatch them.

No, I'm sorry but i totally disagree. Elizabeth Mitchell is not a good actress, watch "V", she plays the exact same part. Her characters have no emotions, because she has no emotions when she acts. In every scene she just tries to play the tough-girl and fails
Juliet was boring, and always had the same attitude in every situation. She cried in about three scenes, if you are an actor you should be able to cry, not that amazing. I've watched her for the last three years and I am so happy she's done because she was the weak-link among some quality actors.

She was just fine for the part of Juliette at first, but her character lost momentum later in the show. She was excellent in the final episodes of last season however. Now, the fact they've written her such a similar character in 'V' is disappointing, I agree.. but hardly shows that she cannot act. Watch 'Running Scared'.. the girl can act.

You thought she did a good job in the "Incident"?? She was horrible
  • Larry
Only, she wasn't. She played the character and her inner turmoil quite well. Loving James but realizing he still had feelings for Kate. The hurt when she looked to James for affirmation during the conversation with Rose & Bernard but instead he looked at Kate. He emotional development over the course of the episode was subtle and believable and culminated in a riveting display as the world was literally crumbing down around her dreams.

You seem to have some personally conceived notion of who Juliette should be and how she should act, when in reality Elizabeth Mitchell is a fine actress and is playing the character that she is being asked to play, to TPTB's specifications.
  • I feel like he doesnt like lost, he sounds bittter
