Here’s a little hint from Damon Lindelof about the final season of LOST:
We’ve been planning out the final season for four years now. And of all the talks we have had about the show, [reuniting all the castaways] is the subject that has come up the most. The ending was almost where we began, and we had to figure out how to get there. It’s like a wedding where the reception is the part that requires the most planning and is the most fun to plan. We’ve exchanged our vows and I am ready to go party.”

he almost said how it ends! the final scene will be in oceanic flight 815. which arrives in los angeles safely! and no-one will know each other. everyone continious their way! no kate and jack! no sawyer and juliet! i dont like it! he didnt have to say that they end the show just like they’ve started. and they dont know how because the bomb didnt work!

He says “The ending was almost where we began” because they planned it so long ago that it’s like they’re doing the show all over. This may be the best season of Lost.

All sounds great!
It´s gone a look pretty good how all the Main Characters are together in something all 25characters but how you gone a do to make all oceanic 815 join together with miles,faraday,charlotte,ben,juliet and desmond if the come after all happens…
For me souunds good but if you show all of that like a memory… No like the end we want something different”WE DON´T WANT TO BE A DREAM,or TO COME BACK AGAIN TO THE ISLAND AND ALL WILL HAPPEN AGAIN,or MAYBE TO REVIVE ALL THE PEOPLE THAT IS ALREADY DEAD…JUST MAKE A GREAT AND SAD END (ANOTHER GREAT FINAL COULD BE THAT THE KILL SOME OF THE MORE IMPORTANT CHARACTERS)

The key word in “The ending was almost where we began” is “almost”.
As in “I almost became an astronaut, but I actually work at a cheese factory”.

To me Damon sounded like if he is going to give us a ending that we will never ever forget. Lost will have the Best Series Finale ever!

He says “the ending is almost where we began” ’cause they started planning the ending before almost everything else! He doesn’t mean that the show is going to end almost the same way that it began! Don’t you read the entire tease?

It better be a 4 hour season finale. Or something of the like. Though the writers better think long and hard about the ending, otherwise I’ll have to kill them. And I have to agree with Lostie;
