But I think the person will be in his mid 30′s by now on Lost.

i think its Leonard Sims, that guy in the mental institute in hurlys flashback, no one has thought about him yet and he knows the island and the numbers so why cant it be him, or maybe its the other guy in hurlys flashback the one that killed himself because of the number i forget his name ?

Juliet saved Amy and her baby. But Juliet travelled in time to be in 1977… an alternative 1977. So, no one of the characters we know could be that baby… he was not supposed to live!

That is an excellent point and the most intelligent answer I’ve heard. That might explain why didn’t see Amy in Man Behind the Curtain, cause she died in childbirth, but now Juilett has saved mother and baby so corse correction must step in at some point to ensure neither survive.

Whatever happened, happened. You can’t change what has already happened. Time has a way of course correcting itself. Just because Juliet was there to get the baby out doesn’t mean that the baby did not survive without Juliet. Juliet before this seemed to have lost all hope; each baby she tried to save died along with the mothers. Having Juliet there could have been more about redeeming her self-esteem and sense of purpose, instead of supposedly saving the baby.

lol come on guys whats with all these silly comments! we know jacob as been on the island for many years, we know its a boy so it cant be annie or someone like jack cause he is too old! it HAS to be one of the younger cast if he is to be important, like perhaps Boone or maybe even ethan.

He is the only one who match this birth.
= Born in the 70′s
= We don’t know anything about his parents yet
= As Faraday said several time, Desmond is “SPECIAL, rules don’t apply to him”
Being born on the island, no wonder that he was gonna be “special”.

I believe that the baby being born on episode 9 will be Ethan it cant possibly be Desmond cos he wasn’t born on the island …. and ye its probably ETHAN
