Also, the baby, born in 1977, would be 27 by the time of the O815 crash, which means it cannot be Sawyer, who’s stated his age as 36, or Desmond, who in 1995 was in a monastery after a 6 year relationship (which he likely did not begin when he was 12). Jack also appears too old. I think it could be Claire’s old boyfriend, who happens to be Aaron’s father – which makes him significant anyhow.

Finally, we’re unlikely to see Mikhail, who was fighting in Afghanistan through the late ’80s (he also said he was lying about being part of DI).

I like the “Sawyer restores Alpert’s confidence” theory. The math adds up and everything.

If that girl is Charlotte, then she would have been 34 or 35 when she died. That doesn’t seem right to me.

10. I wonder if who the baby is even matters. But, if it does then I think it would have to be one of the male characters in his 30’s. That would be Jack, Sawyer, Ben or Desmond. It’s not Ben because we were witness to his birth. My guess would be either Jack or more likely Desmond since we know he is “special.” Plus, we really know nothing about Desmond’s parents.

30′s? Where did you get that number from? The baby is born in 1977 and when the flight had crashed he would have been 27. It’s not Ben because like you said, we already witnessed his birth. The two people who looked 27 were Hurley and Boone. Hurley is already on the island so I think its Boone. Also Desmond is Scottish.

Also I wasn’t thrilled to see Kate back on the Island now that Sawyer is with Juliet. I think she doesn’t screw the relationship Sawyer and Juliet are in now.

Also I already posted this theory on the lostpedia forum but would like to share it here too

Ben isn’t on the island yet. Sawyer and co. have been there for 3 years now and if Ben was there, it would have been shown in this episode itself just like how we see Charlotte and Daniel recognizing her. The submarine is on the island and Charlotte will be leaving on it and we’ll see Daniel asking her not to return. She will be leaving because while Charlotte was on the island in the present, she did not know Ben and vice versa. This is because they had never met when they were little. After the submarine leaves, it will return back with Ben. And when the losties had crashed, Ben already knew Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sawyer and that’s because he had met them when he had arrived on the island

Oh and Suliet are soo cute, it’s definitely the best couple of the rectangle!
