ABC Confirms One Week Break After Episode 8

ABC, Season 5 View Comments

Even before the fifth season started there were some rumors that ABC had decided to maximize their May sweeps payoff by “stretching out” Season 5 with a week or two off, rather than having the finale air mid-month.

Well, this has now been confirmed by ABC’s site ABCmedianet.com: on March 11 the network will re-air episode 8. This means that we will have to wait another week to watch episode 9, airing on March 18th.

It is frustrating for LOST fans to have to wait even longer for new episodes, however this allows the writers and the production team to have more time to polish the rest of the episodes for the remainder of the season therefore  we shouldn’t complain, right?
