im allmost sure it has to be hurley now, i think there tryin to show you the “rational ways” these people have these connections n the whole time travel thing makes it possible. Hurley finally finds out what the numbers are and ends up recording them on the island in the past. Leonard who ends up in the mental institution goes crazy because one “random night” they start coming over the pacific, he goes nuts goes to the mental institution teaches them to a younger hurley, hurley gets out wins the lottery then back to the island on 815 and bam time loop complete.

I dont know if you saw the scene (it was in some music video or something b4 season 5 had even started) and there is a scene where Faraday is alone he walks out of the jungle and theres a huge golden allmost Aztec looking pyramid and he falls to his knees , i have never been able to find the full version video again but i think it was the fray or something. O and the whole possesion thing might be true since there bodies seem to dissapear before he uses them as a vision (smokey) or maybe he takes the body to download there minds in a sense to use whenever needed ? who f’in knows lol im goin crazy on this lost shit haha, im pretty sure they were brainwashed and since she stayed behind ( only because Jin freaked out and said YOUR pregnant blah blah ) and damon n carlton said that wasnt actually the temple but where the holes are , are like the outer walls .

o god dont hate me one last comment , anyone remmember the story that Eko told Locke as he gave him the piece of missing film that was found in the bible left at the arrow station? about the book of laws and how the people rebuilt the temple.

You can download the Fray/Lost video for free on iTunes and then watch is slowly… but I don’t recall that “Aztec pyramid” scene… please let us know the time it appears in the video.
Yes, I believe ALL of the Losties will find out that something they experienced on the island will turn out to be due to their own doing in the past. Hurley will record the numbers… the 4 toed statue will be someone else… etc.

Hmmm, I never thought that Charlotte could be Widmore’s daughter. If she were his and Eloise’s though, I think that the thing with Dan would be a little odd though. I know that Lost is eternally unpredictable, but still. I think that if it did turn out that Ben had another daughter (or son, or whatever) – not even necessarily Charlotte – and his child was taken from him, that could explain a lot about the whole Alex situation (as discussed in the podcast, not many single men would choose to raise a daughter alone, like Ben has done with Alex). But that’s the only thing that fits, as Ben tried to kill her. Unless he didn’t recognize her. Which is also seemingly impossible as he knew so much about her when they first met in season 4. Additionally, it would be pretty ironic if she was Widmore’s child as Ben did mention planning to kill his daughter. If he had two and one of them already died on the island, it would be pretty upsetting for him.
Anyway, I still have doubts about Charlotte’s father (and mother). My guess is that it’s already someone we know, but not even necessarily Ben or Widmore as there are many points which point otherwise. I’d love to find out though
Anyway, loved the podcast, hope to hear some more soon!

I meant kill Charlotte by the way, not Alex. Sorry for not making myself clear enough

…too bad everybody in the world knows by now that the name on Ben’s van is an anagram for “reincarnation.”

The temple was not built on top of the wheel room. The temple still was there in season 4 when the others went their in season3. The well was built by the islands original inhabitants over the donkey wheel room. Then when dharma came they built the orchid and must have destoyed or hidden the well. The islands original inhabitants built he temple aswell but obviously under the ground the temple and the donkey wheel room are connected. I think that they might have built the four toed statue and they must have been some type of religous tribe and then through maybe people arriving or crashing and also generations that they where the hostiles and some of the others. RICHARD ALPERT. I think that Dharma and the hostiles will have Hanso connections.

In one of Charlotte’s scenes while she is laying there dying, it appears as if she is jumping through time.
She says:
“Why can’t Daddy come with us?…
You know what my Mum would say about me marrying an American.”
I’m guessing this is when Charlotte and her Mom were leaving the Island.
So I would think this suggests Charlotte’s Dad is American, and therefore not Charles Widmore.
February 16th, 2009 at 7:29 pm
charlotte cant be widmore’s daughter, why would he send her back to the island to die?>
and I think time will stop in one place and in that place Dan will warn Charlotte.
also, some1 said maybe DONT BRING HER BACK mean Ji Yeon not SUN
I miss claire… OMG I HOPE JULLIET WONT DIE

The transmission could be Hurley’s voice but it might be something we’re looking to deep into. By that I mean, over analyzing. Go back to the season premiere, episode 1, “Because You Left” and fast forward to when Locke talks to Richard in the end. When Locke says, “When am I?” and Richard replies, “Well John, that’s all relative.” Listen to when Richard says “that’s all relative”, that sounds awfully like Ben. Now imagine if you simply heard the half quote from Richard, “…that’s all relative.” before watching the episode in a trailer or teaser or something. You would be quick to jump and assume it’s Ben right? Clearly that’s not the case.

Great post, am glad its back, but am not so sure that the numbers are recorded by hurly they just dont sound like him not even alittle bit ? am i missing somethink here ?

My opinion(and i hope the the writers have thought about this too) is that Widmore can’t be Daniel’s father(or anyone else with blue or green eyes) for the simple reason that his mother, Miss Hawkings has green or blue eyes(don’t remember) and he has brown. That means (biologicaly) that his father HAS to be someone with brown eyes(as 2 people with both blue/green eyes) can never have a child with brown eyes, although the opposite can happen. Again, Widmore is not Daniel’s father unless the writers forgot that detail. Richard is more likely to be his father than Widmore.

I think that “DONT LET THEM BRING HER BACK” from Charlotte was meant for Ji Yeon.
February 17th, 2009 at 9:39 am
Another thought.. what if “Don’t let them bring her back!!” was when Charlotte was consciousness time shifting.
She was remembering Daniel Faraday telling her Mom not to bring her[Charlotte] back.

- the ‘temple’ is not where the well or the Orchid is…bad take
February 17th, 2009 at 4:48 pm
